This witch needs more than a wicked sense of humor to be the hero in a quirky quest she never saw coming. Because when this fairy tale goes down in the history books, the people behind the scenes fade into obscurity… which is exactly how Gretchen wants it.

Who is Gretchen, anyway?

An unceremonious witch trying to get by in a realm filled with fairy tale characters and fantastical creatures. Gretchen tells her own truth through the eyes of the downtrodden and does the best with what she has. Shrewd in her appraisal of the situation, she takes us gallivanting across the countryside poking fun where she can and righting wrongs as she sees it. An unlikely superhero, the history books will gloss over her part in events. Which is exactly how she would want it.

So What Happens?

This series takes a more cynical look at popular stories and turns conventions on their head. When history is written by the victorious, what was it like to be there? Was Goldilocks a diva? Did Hansel and Gretel tell porky-pies to their parents to keep out of trouble? This damsel in distress thing, is that all as it seems?

A new title will land in the Kindle two hour reads store every month. These books are ideal for those looking for an entertaining read to while away an afternoon. But the books are only half the fun, be sure to check out the free matching web-based bonus content for each episode.
